The new digital stack with Nuxt and Prepr CMS
Worldpack

Worldpack relieves large retail brands worldwide with their “Service with Guts” mentality. To make this promise a reality online as well, a modernization of the digital landscape was essential. Solvy guided the migration from an outdated Typo3 system to a future-proof stack with Nuxt and Prepr CMS.

Challenge

Worldpack had relied on Typo3 for years. Although this system served well for a long time, it began to hinder the ambitions of the marketing and content teams. The main issues we identified were:

  • Complex management: Editing content or creating new pages was a time-consuming and technical process.
  • Lack of agility: It was difficult to respond quickly to changes in the dynamic retail market.
  • No personalization: Worldpack serves diverse industries (from Fashion to Food), but could not target online content to specific audiences.

The request to Solvy was clear: Build a platform that is as agile and service-oriented as Worldpack’s daily operations.

Our approach

Instead of a standard migration, we opted for a complete overhaul of the digital structure. We divided the project into three crucial phases to ensure agility:

  • Strategic roadmap: First we mapped the ideal customer journey. This ensured that the technology directly supported Worldpack’s commercial goals.
  • Transition to headless: We chose a headless setup to remove the limitations of traditional systems. By decoupling the frontend from the backend content system, we created an environment where marketing and IT can accelerate independently.
  • Focus on performance and SEO: The build prioritized speed and a clean code structure. This is important not only for the user experience but also for visibility in a competitive market.

Solution

To return control to Worldpack, we implemented a stack that excels in freedom and speed:

  • Prepr CMS: As the central content platform, Prepr enables the marketing team to manage content themselves. They can now reuse content blocks and display specific messages to different customer groups without technical support.
  • Nuxt: For the presentation layer, we chose Nuxt. This framework delivers an extremely fast interface and a modern user experience that seamlessly aligns with Worldpack’s brand promise.

Result

The renewal immediately increased Worldpack’s digital capabilities:

  • Marketing efficiency: Teams can now launch new pages and campaigns in a fraction of the time.
  • Personalized customer experience: Visitors see content tailored specifically to their industry.
  • Future-proof: The architecture is fully scalable and ready for further international growth.

Future

With this new setup, the way is clear for further innovation. The chosen technology makes it easy to connect additional channels in the future or apply deeper personalization based on customer data. Worldpack is now well-positioned to continue leading in the market.
